D, in '66 interior code 4 = buckets. This is confirmed by the top line b/5 code.
Car also has a console a/6.

Scheduled production date of March 16 (1966) Built at the St. Louis plant. RP23H67 VIN. One of 503 shipped for sale in the US.

Nice find. Good luck.

Thanks Guys. I used to have two Hemi cars and sold them both when the market went crazy. I really want one to replace the others.

The guy doesn't have the original auto anymore and replaced it with a 4spd.

Doug,
In this case you are correct as I overlooked the codes on the top left side of the tag and missed that it was a console car. The codes in GG's book show that the interior code "4" is the same for buckets and bench seat and the only way I know to confirm by the tag/GG's book is to see if it has a console, at least I have never been able to figure out any other way to determine that actual seats by his codes unless I have missed something in his books. Which leaves it a mystery for a bucket seat car with no console as in a 4 speed or column auto shifter.

OOOPs, I just reread your post and AGAIN missed that you stated the b/5 codes states buckets DUH, I knew that too, I am getting old.

I didn't bother to decode the SPD.

BTW, how did you determine the build plant for this car without the V.I.N. on the tag?? Maybe you have the car in your database?
