Lets see all the cool 66-67 b-body mopar pictures.!!

Thanks Guys. The plan is to leave it green (as of right now?), I have seen a few on the internet that were restored back green and I think it'll look good. Not as eye catching as red or a bright color, but nice and clean. Yes watermelon, the air breather is a K&N knoc off brand I bought it before I bought the Belvedere because I liked it, I'm thinking I gave $40 or $50 couldn't pass it up.

Been working on it for a little over two years. When I got it it had no interior engine bay was a disaster, but it is coming along fine.
440 with Comp cam, 440 Source alum heads, Edelbrock intake Holley 850, 727 auto with TCI full manual valve body, 3.91 8 3/4 rear end.
How about yours?

67 coronet 2 door post. We are just putting the finishing touches on the motor and drive line .. headed for the body shop next .. I bought this car summer/fall.. I can't seem to find any literature or photos of these cars anywhere. I see there was a guy selling one out of a barn in IL but that is about it .. anyone know the story on these?? other than the Vin info I haven't been able to drum up much info. Was it a police cruiser back in the day when they used to lock the criminals in the trunk? seems they may have not built many 2 door post cars in 67?? I didn't even think about that when I bought it. I just liked it .. it dawned on me much later.

Hey watermelon, your car looks absolutely awesome!!! Can you please post paint color code?
Also can you post full wheel specs and tire size, any rubbing or special tweaks needed to make combo work?

I have a 67 belvedere II that i would love to make look like yours. That car is NICE.

I will second clemul, watermelon's car looks great. Got any more pictures watermelon? and any wheel and tire specs?

66 Belvedere Project

Here are some pics of my 66 Belvedere project. Hoping to get working on it this summer. But have a couple of other projects going on. It is a small block car with mostly original paint. Well lets say original primer in some spots. Little plastic on one fender form years ago. Very little if any rot and a little rust here and there. We dont find many in New England like this. It came from down South in the early 90's some time. It had a junk 400 in it when I bought it. I put a rebuilt 318 in it, I had laying around from another project just to get it moving.

No. I've got a lot of cool pictures, but not all of my '66 Charger. I'd like to post more. I've got some of my buddies '64 Chevy pickup, and '67 Caddilac that are pretty good. I was experimenting with a new camera when I took the last too pictures, that's way they didn't come out so well..

The grill where very cool on those 66 chargers.! i like them anyways.!

Oh heck yes keep this one on the updates i want to see the progress.!

1966 Coronet 500

Here's a few photos of my 66' Coronet 500 I owned about 20 years ago, originally 361/auto. powered, w/manual drums brakes, non-A/C. original paint and interior, buckets/console.
I bought it in 1989 from the 2nd owner, a year later I swapped in a 440 w/a 528 solid cam, w/ported 915 heads an 11" Continental torque converter and 3.55's in the rear. it was a low 12 second car in street trim.

I used to run 383 4 barrel emblems on the fenders and sucker a lot of people into racing me, thinking it was a 383!

I sold the car in 1993 to a guy that was dating "Madonna", he made me an insane offer (she gave him a wad of cash to play with!) he said he was gonna put a Hemi in it, but Madonna must have gotten tired of him by then!, because I saw it a year later with a new owner but the same 440 set up.

66 Charger

Hi all,
Here's my 66. According to the VIN it was a 383 but now has a 440 that someone switched in. Just bought it two weeks ago. Waiting for the snow to all melt away to get her on the road. Kids love it, my wife hasn't seen it in person yet !!
Jim
