Ok, just pretend it's a Mopar...

I've been helping some family friends over the last couple months liquidate a life-long car collection.
There are several interesting cars and parts, etc., but let me show you these two that I was introduced to yesterday:

First, this is a 1963 1/2 Ford Galaxie 500 "R" Code 427 dual quad 4 speed car. 33,000 original miles. Been stored for 25+ years-ish. Was originally bought new in California and was campained at the drag strips by it's owner, The Phillip Morris Company. We have the air cleaner, and I think the wheels and hubcaps. It has NEVER been painted, molested in any way, etc etc. It is a TRUE survivor. It is Rust Free.

Dude, that is awesome!!!! Absolutely incredible. So what's the plan for them?

Is that a 70 Torino next to the 65 Galaxie? If it's a 351C 4V 4 spd I'm on my way!!!!

They are indeed nice.... My mom in law had a 70 red Torino, and it does look like one... Meep Meep..hard to really tell the year but it sure does looks like one.. If these photos were put in the right forum someone will be driven nuts with HOW MUCH?? emails i bet.

Helluva a nice find! There's another 63-1/2 427 car that may still be in my area;not only is it legit(I've seen and sat in it-albeit 30+ years ago),it has some unique features/ordered options not found on "typical" 427 Galaxies of that year. Like it ain't white with a red interior, and I've seen the documentation to back it up. The owner is very secretive, and rightfully so. VERY unique amongst the breed.

The '65 is interesting as well;there used to be a beautiful twin to that car(427/4-speed) that used to come to local car shows around 25 years ago,and it had the plastic headlight covers as well. Haven't seen it in years;same car?

Wow, where are these cars located - and are they for sale??

I've got a couple more that I'm going to list later tonight as well.
I'm not sure yet, but I think the Torino is a 1971 and not a 1970, but I'm not sure. It IS a 351C, but I have to check my notes on the trans.
With soo many cars, it's hard to keep them separate and clear in my head.

If you or anyone else has SERIOUS interest, PM me with a reasonable offer and I'll let you know.

They are in Wisconsin.
We are trying to sell alot of them off, however, as of right now the 1965 Galaxie R code is NOT for sale and I have been informed it probably will NOT be one of them up for sale either.

I will keep listing them as I sort through them.

Here is a good one, too:

1966 Ford Galaxie 7 Litre 4 speed Convertible.
I think it's been off the road since 1972.
I do now have it listed on the International 7 Litre Registry. It is number 83 known to exist.

However, I do now have a cash deposit on it. If it falls through, I'll let my friends here on the forum know first.
I didn't tell anyone about it before I don't think if I remember right. Didn't think anyone here would have interest in a Ford.

I looked at the pic again and saw the laser stripe, so most likely a 71. I'd be looking for a red 70 4 spd. Damn, I wish I had more room! That 63 Galaxie with the 427 is bad ***!

There was one of these cars in Savanna, Illinois (n.w. corner of Illinois) new in 1966 owned by a guy by the name of Dennis Corey. I remember him telling me that he had the track class record for the car at Cordova Dragway. He said there were not many cars in the class because of the fact that it was a ragtop. I don't recall the color of the car. Maybe the same car? He had a brother named Charlie and they were a big Forf family. Charlie has both a Boss 302 and a 70 Shelby. Dennis also had a Talladaga.
