I'm trying to rebuild the rag joint and coupler on my &#RR any info on the part number and where I can get a rag joint. I have the coupler rebuild kit but noone seems to have the sof parts. I tried both of the jiont eleminators from flaming river nad neither of them fits, any help
?

Assuming your RR is a '73, the coupler rebuild kit is available from a dealer or eBay. The rag joint #3575303 is not. Somebody was saying last year that one was being repo'd, nothing available that I am aware of. Only 1 person selling nos on eBay and wants $195.

I bought mine from http://www.steerandgear.com/index.html last year at a swap meet!
I didn`t see it on the web site but call em!

Or try http://www.bouchillonperformance.com/BPE2119.asp

This last link is who told me one was in the making. I ordered from the web site last year, but it came back as not in stock, to call for info. I did and was told it was doubtful they would get any. Why advertise it then? Maybe they did get someone to make it since last year, give them a try. I finally got a nos piece off ePay.

The only place is on ebay, I looked for 2 weeks for mine.
He had 2 left last week when I purchased mine, they are brand new.

I will post a link as soon as I get home.

Bouchillon and Steer&gear are out of stock, Bouchillon said they are in the process of making a repro, but do not know when they will be for sale.

i went with the joint from flamingriver.com I machined the end of the plunge joint so that it would fit in the flaming river joint. By doing this i'll never have to worry about another rubber biscuit getting ruined by header heat and I still have the plunge joint so I don't have to worry about added stress being put on my steering gear. I can provide pics if anyones interested.

got that it doesent fit im just gonna bite the bullet and pay the duece for them oem part

I do question what is now absorbing the k-frame flex? Are you getting more vibration in the steering wheel?

One last shot... try this guy. He may still have a nos piece. Can't remember what his price was though.
