Thanks guys, Matt following along with your restos i can see where fuel could be an issue, Mine is only 18-20, Mine just isint that hard to heat with a turbo heater and a old oil furnace to keep it warm, its small but ive done a lot of cars and a couple small trucks in them. I seem to adapt well in any circumstance, i don't like to loose. lol... The models are a cave room thing, late sitting watching TV putting them together is just plain fun, Im not going to believe that im the only 6-5 220 pd guy that likes things such as putting model cars together on the cold winter nights. lol.
SSR Give it a shot! just start it as some fun instead of the real car work, it is relaxing, in a way rewarding when you can sit back and look at the work you did on them, i agree with you that if you turn it into a buying collectibles, i think the "fun" part of it is over..
Loving these old cars the way we do, id suggest it to anyone for building them during the hibernation period of our cars locked up for winter. Most wont admit it, our women seem to know it, better then we, we are kids at heart when it comes to these cars, we talk of them more then the women getting together for there "Hens convention" talking over recipes for food, and cool shopping sprees, its the truth. :blob1:
