I will get a hemi next tuesday

hey guys,
to be honest..i will get a hemi-hepatectomy next tuesday;
in other words..i will have the right half of my liver taken off during surgery, because there is a malignant tumor in that half.
I will try to recover a.s.a.p. so i can start on my plymouth savoy again!

Good luck, this type of operation is done quite a bit. Does not make it an easy "pill" to swallow. God Bless, prayers are w/ you man!

it's me again; got back from the hospital last wednesday; surgeons took off 60% of the liver including the tumor; it was 100% removed. They were very glad with how the procedure went. Now i need to get healthy again, which will take a while, but that's no problem.
I am glad that that it all worked out.

hi guys,
last thursday it has been a year ago that i got a hemi-hepatectomy, when the surgeon removed a cancerous tumor from my liver. I had my colonsurgery last februari, which went perfect also.
And now..i am still cancer-free and feeling good! Got back to work for my boss, and...got back to work on the car a few months ago!
