Hello. Not sure if your project is done or not started but a service manual always is a good book unless your going to sell the car soon. I used mine alot on my rebuild.

Factory service manual is very good and I also have a nice collection of the old Motor's repair manuals too which show up on Ebay for decent prices.

All the books listed so far are good. Mymopar.com has some very good information also. Paint chips, wiring diagrams, misc.

Herd's restoration book will be good for catching oil spills. Other than that, it's pretty worthless. There is so much inaccurate information in that book.

Spend quality time on credible boards like FBBO and Moparts. Learn who the good posters are and pay attention to them.

Trust...but verify... everything you read or hear.

Spend time in the Hamtramck Historical library. It's become a very good reference spot.

just getting started I will look for a service manual..

I bought a Haynes Manual for my car at Auto Zone, there about 20 bucks and i have found it very useful with a lot of things on my car.. Wiring diagrams, diagrams showing how to do one thing or another, much more. I just bought another for my Ram truck i imagine will be a help eventually.. You could go maybe and just thumb thru it and see if its something that will be a help, repairing, what thermostat to use, ect... Good luck.

X 2 With My Mopar.com.... Elk mentioned.

Your right Cranky. I have a motors book for sale on my local rochestercraigslist.com now for only 10 dollars. I was going to sell it on this sight but whoever buys it will get railed with shipping because of the weight of it. Thought I would throw it out there since I have two of them and Cranky mentioned it. If somebody wanted to call me for exact details that would be o.k.
