My question is, were rear 1/4 roll down windows an option? The 2 other Chargers I have had in my life both had rear windows that rolled down. The 71 that I have now though doesn't though.
How hard are they to put in and has anyone got photos of what it looks like behind the interior panel?
Thanks

i think this pic describes it best, its not that its an option persay, but rather the type of car that was purchased

i know thata my 71 did not come with roll down windows because of the base model it was...not sure how it worked with Dodge.

Coupes generally had fixed quarter windows. And did they actually make the Charger SE with that roof line? I recall seeing SE's but don't recall the C pillar being like that....

Is the glass the same for fixed or roll down? How hard is it to switch from fixed to roll down?

71's the regulator glass is glued into a channel and the 71/4 fixed glass will work in 71 regulators. 72/4 glass bolts to the reg and the fixed glass will not work in the 72-4 regulators.

Guess I'm one of the few that actually like the 72 SE quarter glass.:icon_fU:
I don't hate it...but it kinda reminds me of the late 60's T-bird roof line....I think it was the late 60's birds.

Wow, that 72 SE would have a serious blind spot! Can't say I remember seeing one either.

the 72 SE roofline is an actual "opera window" style and the 73 SE is a "tri-louver"... not saying any of you all didnt know this, but just as an FYI, I have heard 73 SE's being labeled as opera windows when they are actually not. So what I said, plus $1.00 will get you a cup of coffee :D
