Hey Guys,

I hit a local junkyard yesterday and while there I found a 67 Coronet shell that has some decent parts left on it. I have an opportunity to strip the car but I want to see if there is any interest in the parts that are left on it. I have no picts but all of the parts are usable driver quality. The car was a 318 car but it has a later 400/727 in it now. I am getting the 727 for one of my projects.

Here is what's left worth saving:

Complete dash frame with gauges, glovebox door, switches, AM radio and A/C vents.

Complete A/C heater box with vents, only defroster vent needs repair and one hose is torn.

Working automatic floorshifter with brackets for console minus knob

Complete uncut dash harness for A/C

Good 26" core support

Good floors and trunk floor

Good cowl

Good V8 k-frame

Complete 8.75 rearend with a 741 case that is most likely an open gearset.

Usable rear seatbelts

Let me know if these parts are worth saving

Joe

Thankfully, I don't have a need for parts at this time, but it's good to see that others are on the lookout wherever they are!!!

Thanks, I hate to see the old Mopars rust into the ground. When I find an old Mopar with good parts, whether I need them for my projects or not, I try to get them and pass them onto guys that need them.

If anyone is interested in any of the parts from this Coronet let me know and I will pick them up.

If the 741 case had a sure grip in it I would be interested. Other then that I pretty much have spares of all that stuff up for sale already.

I am unsure if the rearend is a suregrip or not. I am assuming it is an open because the car was a 318 car but I could be wrong. I have none of these parts in my posession at this time. I am just gauging the interest to see if it is even worth buying the parts.

Yeah I was basically stating if you head out to look at it or pick it up I would be interested in it if it was a sure grip. I am not in a hurry by any means on this so if you take another look let me know.

67 coronet parts

I have a 1967 gtx 2 door hardtop. I need the back window trim. You did not mention if this was a 2 door or not. My trim is good except for the top left piece. I do not have a vinyl top. I also need the heater box but without air if you find one. Thanks ike

radio knobs?

I don't think you get a response this thread is from 2012. And the OP has not been back since 2020

Richard Cranium is looking for a chrome '67 seat adjuster knob. Are the the seat ornaments in good shape? You have to take bucket seat backs off to remove the front ones. Rear seat needs to come out for the rear set. Rear bumperettes? You can PM me.

Oops! I missed seeing the date on the post. I doubt if I get a response. LOL.
