Which radiator shroud is correct.

I have a 68 satalite with a 440 and what i was told was a 69 26" radiator. I bought the 5 stud 67 to 69 shroud but it does not line up at all. The radiator I have has 3 studs down each side. Could this be a 70 up and need the 4 stud shroud? dont want to order another one if i am not relitvily sure it is right. My local dealer has been preaty understanding but dont want to push it too far.

i couldnt find the right shroud for my radiator. i finally had to fab the mounting brackets up

'67-'70 (i think) 26" C-body radiators have 3 studs down each side, as you've described. It's easy to find what year/model your radiator is for, just search the part number on google. Pic's would help a little, but you're definitly on the right track with your 5 stud shroud.

5 stud did not fit the body of the radiator. That is why i was thinking it may be the 70 and up 4 stud. mine has 6 studs total 3 down each side. I was thinking maybe the top 2 and bottom 2 would be for the 4 stud and the center 2 are either for something else or not used?

What's the part number on the top tank of the radiator? It is a Chrysler radiator right?

Ok, well i have a 26" C-body radiator with 6 shroud studs (3 on each bracket) they measure 8.25" center to center. If this is what you have, then i see 2 ways to go.

#1. Get a C-body shroud.

#2. Get a new B-body radiator with 5 studs, that will match up to your shroud.
