I have just recently removed my 727 transmission for a rebuild and the factory style cooling lines are beat up badly. I want to replace them while the trans is out. I currently have an aftermarket trans cooler with the undesireable hose barb ends. I want to upgrade this entire transmission cooling system and I'm thinking of braided lines and a cooler with screw on type fitting attachments. What do so of you have and what would you recommend to me? Thanks very much!!!!

You can use aluminum tubing with a "an" flange or cotton braided hose 'cause it's lighter.Eventually I will get rid of ALL my steel braided and go to cotton braided:icon_bounce:

Ill be using the black braided hose from earls or summit has there own. Has the same psi capability as the steel braid but less then half the weight.

Transmission cooler / cooling line pictures?

Do any of you with other than stock cooling lines have pictures of your transmission cooler and cooling line set up?

For Meep Meep and the Forum concerning "hard plumbing lines"
Well, I too am at this juncture. Just recently installed my Hemi in my 70 "Bee" AND having difficulty with the lines I bought from "Fine Lines". (great service, great pricing etc) But, with the TTI headers etc it gets pretty crowded on the drivers side. My question when "hard plumbing" lines is: Build your own and bend accordingly? (Along with patience and luck)
Thanks...

That works for me. The more you do the better you will get. Steel line is cheap so grab a few extra sticks and work on your technique.
