put the motorhead logo as the emblem!

reminds me of my ex-wife........

The car or the motorhead symbol? hahaha

Wow it's been a while since I've been on here, The holley 500 CFM carb finally got here... turns out it didn't fit... the best part is that the amazon "Does this fit your car?" thingy said that it fits my 1966 318, Dumb thing. Oh well, gotta ship it back and get another one, Not much has been done to the car, stripped the headliner off, took the old carb off because we were about to replace it but then noticed the bolt pattern was wrong, Cleaned the manifold, that's about it so far.

Oh and my wheels still haven't arrived...

Sweet car!

As far as performance... if you end up wanting to do more with the poly, you should keep in mind the MP small block stroker cranks. I takes some work, but you can manage over 400 cubes out of a poly 318 going that route.

Of course it might be cheaper to just transplant a big block... but that doesn't matter when I'm spending your money, right?

Mmmm... Motorhead.

Actually I dont have to do a thing to my floors they are pristine! I just hope i'm not 50 before I can enjoy her.

Okay guys, I need some help.

We bought a carb that amazon SAID fit my engine and of course, it didn't.

So can someone suggest a two bbl carb for me? I'd prefer a 500CFM but 350's would work.

just toss on a new intake and a nice 4bbl no?
that'd give it some pep.

im with 69 charger on this one.you posted muscle car in your title. muscle cars dont have 2 barrels unless theres 3 of them.

There was a point that the base engine in a road runner was a slant six, or a 318 2V. I suppose it can be argues they weren't "muscle cars" in the truest sense.

True, But we're getting a 2bbl carb right now so we can get it running good/drive-able, It's pretty rough on the road right now. After we get it running good we're going to stroke it to a 402 and obviously add all the goodies *Headers, Dual Exhaust, Big Cam, 4bbl carb etc.*.

But for now, we just need a simple 2bbl to get us down the road.

Okay everyone, Dad decided that we need to get a 383 or a 440 and a four on the floor... Finally! I've been asking him to do this since we pretty much GOT the car.

Anyways I need some tips on where to find a complete motor for fairly cheap.

and a floor console, and a new steering column.

Thanks!

WELL,how is it coming along.Autozone has the 2-bbl for around 200.It will get the car moving while you get your big block combo together.my brother has been drivin his every day.poly 318 66BVDII
