This 70 runner I've been working on had a (non O.E.) Holley and a rubber fuel line on it. Boy don't have the correct carb, so I got a new 1406 for it. Now I need to create a fuel line.

So what I need is/are pic(s) of big blocks with an AVS or AFB with stock type metal fuel line. I need a good view of how the line is run/bent so I can (not spend my usual 3-4 hours creating the perfect line) bend one up quick

No one? :edgy: Nobody has a pic of a 383 with an AVS and O.E. type metal fuel line from pump to carb?

Had to go way back for this one:

These are both 70 RRs. Check out "carsonline.com" Most everything has an air cleaner on it. (hard to see) I would use your shop manual. Not the first two I sent you. The line comes out the front...

Thanks gentlemen. I was hoping I could get away with something with fewer bends, but it looks like I'm actually gonna wind up with MORE because of the new Edelbrock 1406 which has an electric choke in the way.

Groovy.

I got the line all bent up. Top of it looks pretty good, but those two bends at the bottom that exceed 90* ...................what a pain

a 70 383 should have had a holley right ? why not go back with the holley ?

He has a big Holley on it, but it wasn't the correct carb. And since I'm on a deadline I really didn't want to take the time to try and round up the correct thing. So I did the next best thing and went with the Edelbrock. Should work nicely with the M1 dual plane and Bob's cam. It ought to scream.

yes the edelbrock has great street manners , should work out great for drivablility

The original breather is long gone as well, so it's getting the 69 "unsilenced" style breather in wrinkle black with an orange "383 road runner engine" pie tin.
