hello Everyone,
I have been here and there on the Internet and I know more than a few of you here know me from other boards but for those that don't I figured I would introduce myself.
I'm Steve and bought my B-Body not long after I got out of high school somewhere in begining of 1986.
Its a 1967 Charger, origionally a 383 2bbl 4 Speed car but was not #s matching and had lots of issues. After getting to drive it for about 6 months I was forced to park the Charger because of California smog laws and the lack of funds to make it right.
Its a late build 67 with a build date of June 1, 1967 (Built 5 1/2 Months before I was born). I paid $1000.00 for it which was probably $500 more than it was worth.
In March 2001 I started cleaning her up and have Spent the last 10 years rebuilding the Charger with the goal of Driving it Cross country next year to the 2011 CEMA Car Show and taking Route 66 for the Trip home.
I have taken the Charger on a few long distance trips to complete shaking the last few issues out including a trip to Las Vegas for MOPARs at the Strip in March and a few weeks ago up to Oregon and back to a car show a friend was holding. Each trip was just over 1,000 miles.
Anyways here are a few more pics to add to some of the others I posted in other threads.
The Charger is currently a 383 4bbl, 5 Speed with 3.55 Sure Grip.
Hope to meet you on the road some day.
-Steve
