hi kids....WELCOME BACK AL.....anyhoo.....im entertaining the thought of possibly , maybe,,,,havent really totally decided yet.............perhaps putting a vinyl top on my belvy. whats this cost because i have never HAD to put a vinyl top on anything before.

before you ask.... there was never one on the car....its NOT a numbers matching car or anything like it....its my " have fun with it" car and i think it would make it look nice!:headbang:

WHERE IN THE HELL IS OUR BELOVED MR. CRANIUM ?

Dawg.... I personally like them with out the vinyl top, but they look good with a vinyl top also, maybe w/Black Boar Grain KT155BLK 66-67 B-Body for $199 from Year One, I'm sure that there are others... The tops can cause issues with rust if not installed & sealed correctly & even then if they are left outside for harsh winters... Just My opinions

Maybe Legendary Auto Interiors too, but $579 from them for a Black Boar Vinyl top....

Thanx Budnicks.....just tossing the thought around a bit and doin' some research before i delve into it. Neither of my cars will ever live outside or as much as have water on them, so as long as i own them that wont be a problem. the paint on the damn thing is so nice it would almost be a sin to cover it up with vinyl.:headbang:

Some cars look good w/ vinyl tops.............

sms might sell them as well

I paid around $200 for the top ,Year One, and had an upholstery shop install the top and a headliner I provided for $300. This was done about 10 years ago. The car was an original vinyl top car.
