:laughing7:this brings up an old memory.
circa late 60's, there was a ready mix company on the outskirts of town tucked off the road. 6 or 7 mix trucks with saddle tanks and full of gas. we would pull in and get tucked in beside one and run a hose into the car. one nite we got the brain wave of filling up a styrofoam cooler also. got it started and sat in the car for a bit. i would love to have a pic of our faces when we got out. gas all over the ground and there wasn't enough cooler left to make a coffee cup.

its not as funny as the guy with hose in the **** tank but it was funny.
thanks for the memory.:headbang:

The story is BS...

Motorhomes have a dump tube with a cap and a slide valve. There is a slide gate valve for both grey and black water. They share the same outlet tube. There is no top access to any part of the sewage system unless you try to siphon right out of the toilet.

Those stories circulate because 99% of the people who read them don't really know the real details of the subject.

It would still be funny if they changed the story to where the guy uncapped the dump, pulled the gate valve and covered himself with sewage...

Why be a killjoy? Does it bother you that people might get a laugh outta somethin?

I actually think it funnier that they got the facts so blatantly wrong and then made it look like a newspaper article.

Debunking urban legends is usually funnier than the story of origin anyway.

The one about the lady, her dog, peanut butter and her friends hiding in wait to surprise her for her birthday...True I hope!

How about the morons who tried using a shop vac to siphon gas...Kaboom!!

i think it is a case of ppl wanting it to be true more than it is but i got a chuckl out of it and rev is right about the rv thing
