What can I get for 5k

If I started over and had 5-8k to spend..
What would be a good car.
Love to have a 68 Charger but I don’t see that ever happening at 5k but what would be a realistic car to attain and have the way cool factor and semi uniqueness to it without having to drop 15k into it. ??
anyone have a superbee ?

I would think at 5 k you would be limited to a 73 and up car or perhaps a nice driver 66 or 67 Coronet. A true badged muscle car would start at 5 k for a project.sorry early Coronet guys but price is why I have a 66 net

Yea not much out there as a runner for 5k ....
Have someone interested in my car.... hadnt thought about selling it for a while but I'm not sure what I should ask for or settle for and then I'd have to replace it with another b-body.. Really would like a Charger but for some reason a 71 road runner keeps popping in my head as well... Like that year with the go wing or GTX
I saw a 70 r/t Charger r/t project on here with no drivetrain for 10k so I dont know what is good money to spend anymore. Looking for ideas

LOL, I actyually looked at one of those when they were new but the insurance was going to kill me .. So one of my relatives gave me a 79 Impala wagon instead..hahahaha 22 and rocking a wagon

Yeah 5k wont get too much. I spent over 6k for a 72 charger. 71's are my favorite, but like most, i don't have a lot of cash lying around. Late 70's is ur best bet for a nice driver. Or u could get a solid project.

I am selling a 1967 Dodge Dart. Its got a 318 V 8, and is in perfect working condition. it has approximately 67,000 original miles. this car has recently been serviced from top to bottom. it is also 1 owner car and has been garage kept. any questions call or text me.

That's a tough one 99ss... I paid $3500 for my '69 RR a couple years ago, but you've seen the resurrection and work needed to bring a $3500 dollar car back from the dead.

You can find deals that might get you close, but are very far and few between. You gottta be checking constantly and be right on top of it or they're gone in a flash.

How about a 69 runner in tx for $3500 and I can go on and on they are still out there less then $9000 for nice cars I know of 68-70s for $500 and up to 75000 so its possible hell I know of at least 4 that run and drive under 3k
