I think that sounds like a great idea! A few of us core members have talked about it years ago(and we all thought we'd be done with our cars now too!, NOT!!) picking one of the all Mopar shows in the center of the country seemed to make the most sense at the time, St Louis?

sounds like fun but do you think we could pull enough people away from the computer long enough??
anyways i'm in with my hoopty

How about a Parts Run.!!..ha,ha..

I could probably trailer mine to Indy for a cruise / show / swap meet! out back.jpg

sounds great but !!

:iamwithstupid: Why way back in St. Louis damn, Maybe have 2 runs, IMHO I would much rather see a run "out west", like preferably Northern Calif., {I know I know selfish} where it doesn't rain so damn much, in the summer time, it's not humid as hell, always sweating your butt off, like the mid west or back east, in a 40+ y/o car with no A/C, or hot as hell either...LOL... {also getting everyone to agree on a location "that's fair" to all, would be kind of tough} then that way, I wouldn't have to drive so damn far, "BOTH FREAKEN' WAYS" either, like every other damn Mopar type event ever...................... St. Louis, or maybe Kansas somewhere, maybe I would come, but I would have to tow my car in & do some cruises & races or something, not just a show & run or just sitting around, there needs to be some kind of cool activity too... Maybe add a Golf Tounament & trip to the track or watch a NASCAR or NHRA Drag Race or something, I'm sure the logistics would be a nightmare too... Personally, I'm not going to put 4k-5k miles on it, driving all that way, just for a cruise or meet & greet, I can do that here already, not have to drive across the country twice, I'm sure there are others that could feel the same way probably, I've already been there & done that, spent a ton of money too, extra parts, hotels or RV, food, allot of freaken' fuel, for at least 2 people & my dog, I spent near $5k-$10k for 1-2 weeks on the road & essentials for at least probably 2+ {I'd much rather spend it on the car or truck instead}............. :werd: the car done, ha ha, he he I LMAO at that, there never freaken' done it seems, "either I have the money & no time, or allot of time & no freaken' money"... sorry I don't want to be a pessimist or downer, it's just the reality of thing... I forgot to add I would drive my fuel guzzelen' 68 RR RM23

Heavily cammed 440 with 4.10's.. I don't do much distancedriving, no trailer/tow vehicle...lucky to have the car! Would love to do it though. :)

That would be a great idea. Why not do it state by state. I could probably go to the surrounding states from my area and not put alot of miles on my car. Just my $0.02 worth. I'd bring my 69 RR(on a trlr if i had to) LOL

HEY Budnicks,Cali, would be awsome wouldnt it..wow..personally id like that or Old Route 66 in Arizona somwheres.as i am from AZ.myself..and im uasually broke..so the closer the better..it just seems most folks live back east or mid west..but maybe im wrong...OK..California would be an awsome run..

I did the route 66 run from LA to Chicago & back, it was freaken' awesome, allot of cool old towns, cool old café's & burger joints, cool old hotels, very cool & very appreciative business owners & towns people too, they love the old cars, mostly or nearly forgotten' hwy, because of the big interstate hwys, people just don't travel route 66 much as they used to, in their hay day... kind of like the Cartoon Movie "Cars"... I did have some crappy fuel problems, a couple times thou, parts availability was few & far between too, most of the group brought their own common replacement parts & we had a support van, full of tools & stuff, towing a rescue trailer, driven behind all of us... it was way back in the 90's now...

LOL... run what ya brung .. dats just the way it is

I'd be in my 99 Camaro SS unless I got the 69 Roadrunner I just bought running :) ( yes I have a woody)

I doubt we would ever get a large contingent together as we are all spread across the country, and globe for that matter. We could try to hook up at each of the large shows and get some group pics to share with others on the board. I have tried to rally the troops for the Chrysler Nationals at Carlisle with little response. Maybe this year.................

Tho not all B bodies MATS in Las Vegas has runs from Cali,New Mex,AZ,Colorado. Every year.Someday when I'm not working I plan on the AZ run. They drive by my house every year.

Chryslers at Carlisle is great for me as I usually drive my car to it and put it in the show field. Ron

I've often thought about having some big FBBO convention. Great idea if you ask me but I'd need to be able to get away from my job long enough to pull it off. Oh, and I'd need to get one of my heaps done! Well, the 66 hemi Charger is running but still needs tuning so don't plan anything for this month! I may have to sell the GTS convertible to pay the gas bill!
