These headers have been on my 70 383 RR for forty years. My cousin put them on back then, but doesn't remember what they are. Do these look familiar to anybody?

Thanks.

Thanks, Rusty...The #2 pipe on the hookers are long and go over the top of the other pipes rather than down like mine. Mine have the #4 going over #6 and #8 pipes...

Thanks for trying, thought :)

Which one are you calling number 2? The headers look the same to me. But whatever you think.

Nevermind. I see what you're talkin about.

Maybe Hedman Hedders, I'm just guessing thou, it's really hard to tell by just those 2 photos, but they do look like an old set of headers I had, from the 80's...

I've looked at everything on the Summit site and they match nothing. Maybe they are Blackjack or some other brand that is no longer made.

Yeah, I looked through Summit and Jegs, too. Bunch of other sites. If they're not old Hedman's, they are probably some off-brand of header. Whatever they are, they are 40 years on the car and in great shape...other than rusty.

Fair enough. I was just wonderin was all. If you remove them, I bet dollars to doughnuts there's a part number stamped on the flanges somewhere.

Hookers generally had their trademark heart stamp with the name Hooker starting with the H starting on the left side of the heart and running out on the right side of the heart right near the collector flange. Clean that area and maybe you can still see it. They will have several heart/Hooker stamps running around the collector. I could still see it on mine after nearly 20 years.

I agree with Rusty, those look like blackjacks from the late 70's

mike

They look similar to a set of Appliance headers I had in the 70's.

lots to choose from

:iamwithstupid: lets see we have choices of Hedman, Cyclone, Black Jack, Hooker, Appliance... lets add Doug Thorleys to the mix, I do know there not TTI's
