I am curious about something? What is a good way to raise the rear end of my 67 Belvedere without using air shocks.

Depends on how much you want.I ordered some coil assist shocks for a 69 mopar wagon to put on a 68 GTX.They gave me 2" more height which is what i was after.I think they were about $70.00 for the pair.Or you go the new leaf spring route for around $225

Re-arch the springs, ss springs, longer shackles (old school). Lots of ways. Heck, maybe just new oem type springs if your current ones are tired.

I bought the Mopar HD OEM Springs for my 67 belvedere and was pretty disappointed that it didn't raise the rear at all. The good news is the spring rate is stiffer so the tires no longer rub when the weight shifts, but I was hoping for a bit more height. If I did it again I'd go with the ss springs.

Springs from Summit. Helper spring on each side, truck. Modified. Hotchkis tuned Bilstein shocks. Sweet. Raised just over one inch. Perfect stance.

true the only time that the springs are not working is when the car is off of the ground. 40 years i'd say they are tired.

The oldest, most common method to gain an inch, is to swap the front spring hangers (turned upside down, and swapped side to side).

You will have to elongate one bolt hole on each side by just a bit but is quite easy. This was the Chrysler recommended method during the 60's, and allows you to change back if you ever want or need to, and doesn't cost anything.

I installed the super stocks on my 67 coronet and it came up a couple inches, has a nice stance now
