Guys have any of you that have bought the reproduction road runner emblems noticed the posts are half ground off length wise? Or is it just the ones I happened to buy. What this has done is prevented me from being able to use 1/8" thread cutting nuts to reinstall them because now they just slide right on.

i got some for my 70 and the studs are horrible..nothing fits them..the emblems are flimsy as well..what did u use to mount them? clips, nuts or speed nut? or is there a special retainer for them?

iv herd speed nuts were used but i cant find any to fit..anyone have any info or pics of the hardware?

My 'reproduction' roadrunner emblems were actual factory emblems, with the posts snapped off and die-cut two sided tape applied like newer emblems use. I got them from the dealer like that in 1977.,

Check with www.fastanal.com They have some different size speed nuts that might help.
