Hello members...

I want to replace my aluminium radiator.... so I found the homepage of U.S Radiator ..
They produce a 26 x 17 inch copper /brass radiator. So far so good... but I need to know which one is the "right one " for my 66 Coronet with a BB 440 cui engine. 3 or 4 rows ??

I am asking because I need a radiator that has the STOCK messurements... the aluminium radiator that I run right now is Bigger in other words deeper than stock... unfortunatly I can´t use HD fan clutches..only the thermal ones.. because of this issue.

Any help is welcome

Thanks Juergen

I had them build me a 3 row for a 64 Plymouth that was a ex-racecar and all the factory stuff went back on perfectly. Call them, tell them your car specs and they will know what need.

I put one in a 66 Barracuda for my sister-in-law, fit close to perfect(within 1/8 inch). Hated the price, but would do it again for my 65 Coronet.

.....and if you a licensed reproduction one, give Glen-ray a call. Ask for Bob.......seriously. These dudes will get you a numbers matching unit. They are not cheap though.

4 over 3 row. I'm partial to northern because it is a 2 row but because it has 1'' tubes, it cool better than anything else

After I popped the clutch in reverse and put the fan through the radiator and exploded the shroud, I went with a 4 row on the original copper 26". The shop here in San Jose has since closed. $400 and the gd thing leaked. Took it back and it was repaired. Just the hassle of taking it back out. Good results. Runs cool withthe 180 superstat. With the shroud it was a $500 lesson. Good outcome though.
