Team,
As a build my 440 HP block back into a solid running creature, I was considering dropping it into my 67 Coronet. My 67 was not an R/T car to start with but is a numbers car. What I was looking for advice on is what would be needed to get the 440 in there with a working A/C configuration and stock rear-end? I realize that there may be a zillion combinations of hardware to consider, but I'm going for a good stock HP set-up. Thoughts?

....I was thinking that also.

Yes, simple swap. I did a similar kind of swap last year. I added hooker 1 7/8 comp headers and TTI duals. If its not numbers matching or date correct now is the time to consider an exhaust upgrade, but using manifolds will make the swap much easier. The A/C will need the 4 groove crank pulley for all accessories. If you have a 4 speed make sure your crank will work with the pilot bushing. Tag and bag all your fasteners and wires and have fun.

I feel inspired! I got the pulley and am collecting all the cast iron bits and pieces. Really looking forward to this,

You may need a new distributor as the B and RB motors have different shaft lengths. I used a proform electronic ignition with the orange mopar ignition module to replace the points. The proform works pretty well and is inexpensive, but the MSD is nice because you dont have to use a ballast resistor. Intake manifold is different between 383 and 440 so it wont swap.

I used the bouchillon torqueflite kickdown kit to replace the OEM 727 linkage as well, it is solid if you have an auto trans. Bouchillon or mopar performance also sell pulleys and brackets if needed.

.....I suspected as much on the dizzy and the intake. I have the performance brand on both cars too, so one more won't hurt.
