Help, 915 Head I.D. Needed

I have an odd set of 915 heads. Usually their are two main casting numbers on a 60's Mopar head; the model, and the production date. But on this set of heads there is: 2780915 10, and on another area it is stamped 2255. As I understand it, that would mean they were built on February 25th, 1965, but 915's were only produced for 1967. Anyone have any ideas? There is also a weird looking symbol on the front exterior of the head. It looks like a filled in letter M. Any help is greatly appreciated.

In 1967 915 cylinder heads were introduced & fitted to only the 440 cu in engines ....they came out, in 2 versions, the LP 1.60 and HP big valve 1.74 ..

I got my 915's off of 67 Sport Satellite I used to own. It was a 383 2 BBL motor and had 1.6 valves which have just been converted to 1.74 with appropriate work done .. thanks Meep for the the help and advice.

Is it possible the last 5 is a 6? That may still be to early for a 67 model car though? I think lead time was around 4 months on some parts but could easily be wrong on that. I'll take a look at mine later and see what i see on the dates.

Oh and pictures would help if you can get a few good shots of the numbers on them.

The 915 heads first started trickling out in 66 on big Chizzlers. I have 7 sets of those and some have 66 date codes on them and more than half are the 1.6 valve versions. And like Tallhair I have seen them on at least one 66 383.

I really appreciate the responses. The production date code is definitely 2255. I was just curious if some 915's might have been used on some specialty Mopar cars produced in 1965. I have never seen a date code any earlier than late 1966 on a 915. The symbol also has me flustered. I will try to post a picture soon. Thanks again for every ones time.
