photos 70 Road Runners

Here are some pics of mine. Bracket racer, true 440 six pack bird, factory air grabber. Was converted to strip use in the early 80's. I don't see any point in putting it back to original as most of the parts are gone and its so much fun to bracket race. It is titled and tagged but definitely is not street legal. I really want to put a flat hood or six pack hood on the car, just not a big fan of the cowel. I've also considered putting on a superbird nose and a wing and getting some laughs at the drag strip. When was the last time you saw a "superbird" pull the wheels at the tree? Oh, and I'm the kid in the picture in case you were wondering.

Very nice and looks like too much fun, the Superbird thing would be a sight to see for sure.
The only way I can get the wheels off the ground with mine is a with a floor jack lol.

Nice FK5 GTX! How is it eguipped?

It's a original FK5, 440 6bbl track pack (hemi 18 spline 4 speed and dana 3.54 gears) air grabber, hood turn signals, power disk brakes, manual steering originally (I converted to power steering) tick tock tach. am fm radio, light package, I think that's all of it. I added the cid call out on the hood because I liked it at the time.
Here are a few pics of the interior (all original except for seat covers and carpet) and a pic of the day I bought it in 1979 (thanks to Photon440 for fixing up my old pic).

Do you have any suspension mods like dropped spindles or alterkation on that thing Jg00? Also welcome aboard and please head over to the welcome wagon and introduce yourself and post some more photo's of that beautiful ride

Here is my old RR. Sold it to a dealer then he ebayed it. I was told a member of John Force's race team bought it. If anyone has seen it let me know. I'm guessing it now has a Hemi in it.
