Are there any records tying V.I.N. to sequence number on fender tag on 68 and older cars?

I'm not sure I get what you're asking. are you asking whether there are records that will decode your VIN and VON? Or Are you asking how to tie your dash tag to fender tag?

I'm not sure what you are asking either. Are you asking if there is a data base with all the VINs and accompanying Sales Order number? If yes, the answer is no.

The last 6 digits of the VIN are often referred to as the sequence number so your use of that term is a little confusing.

Can you explain a little more as to what you are trying to accomplish?

IF the car is a 68 or later, that information probably doesn't exist. If the car is a 67 or earlier, Chrysler historical may have a copy of the original IBM card. That would tie the VIN to the SO number. You would need something like a window sticker, broadcast sheet, invoice or other document that contains both the VIN and the SO number on it.
