Im not understanding the dyno results or is it a bit on the lean side

We jetted it up and lost power, so I don't know that I'd call that lean. Stoichiometric ideal for gasoline is 14.7 and we averaged 14.31 so we were probably at max power and ideal jetting in a dyno environment. There is a big difference between the primary and secondary fuel flow even though the carb was square jetted so I'm not sure if the fuel turbine is not quite up to task or if that was actually engine related. If it's a turbine issue, that could effect the AFR printed on the paper. We were reading plugs and going off power produced.

Now that looks like a stout engine. Great dyno run!

Thanks, I think there is still some power to be had as we didn't even pull past 6500 and it just started to really move the air at 6100, but that torque curve is super flat peaking at 690ft/lbs so it'd be a real animal in a street car.

That's a nice motor, someone should pick that one up no problem.

Good luck!

Would this be an easy bolt up in replacement of my 440 in my 65 Belvedere II and would it bolt up to the 69 727 I have in the car?

The trans is a direct bolt up. I've never done a hemi conversion in a 65 B body so I can't comment on that. What may be easy to one might be a difficult for another. I would assume it's like all other hemi conversions, just need K-member, mounts, all the other hemi specific items.

headers are the biggest nightmare if you dont want to cut / alter anything in your car

X2 on that note 690.9 TQ & 749.9 HP @ 6500 is great & 582 TQ & 484 HP @ 3800 not too shabby either

BEAST !! What's the price now is it still $17,500 ??

Back from 3/2012 original posting, mainly just curious

Should it go up considering the dyno results??:icon_thumleft:

Price is still the same. I'd knock off $500 and I keep the carb. Someone make me an offer, the worst I can do is say no!!

Hemirunner it's a great looking hemi, the only reason it's not selling maybe people don't know who you are. When they buy from Mancini or other dealers they get a factory warranty. I know that is not much but that maybe the issue.

I would guess that it's not a "stock looking" hemi that's why it probably won't sell quickly. I think most mopar guys are purists rather than speed freaks. I don't know of anyone who will warranty a high performance engine, except maybe Mopar Performance on their crate engines, as you just don't know what is going to happen to it once it leaves your hands. I don't 'have" to sell this one, but I'd like to finish my other one and would rather not have three setting here when two is all I need. I would like to see it find a good home.

i ain't a purist!!! i just can't afford it. I really hope you can sell it.
