Shouldn't this be in the projects Forum?
When I started my build thread I did not notice a projects forum, that was in 07 so maybe it wasn't there yet???
Anyway, how do you move a 16 page thread from one forum to another?

I moved it to members projects Darius.
I just read an article in the Oct issue of Mopar Action about a 65 Dodge Coronet with a 5.7 /Nag1 out of a 2005 300. The article says this guy worked out a solution with Hot Wire???????? Don't know when exactly this build was completed OR what KEY bit of info the author conveniently left out of the article! All I know is I have been trying to solve this since February and the end result is two separate stand alone computers and I have had conversation with Chris at Hot Wire. The ECM is from an 05 RAM 1500. I also read a post somewhere the other day saying 05 is when Chrysler went from VSS to CANBUS programming. CANBUS is where you get screwed!

HI I am starting a build with a 69 charger. I got a 2007 charger donor car with a 5.7 hemi. I will be posting progress of my build and any comments, help and suggestion would greatly help.
Here is the 69 charger begging for restoration at my shop.

I had my guys pull the engine out and get all the wiring and gas tanks, ecu and so on. I figure this will be like the 69 camaro rs build that I dropped a ls1 in and built from the ground up you can check out that build at http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?t=219839 or just google rim spec 69 camaro. We do body work | paint and rim repair.
Here some pics took us about 6 hrs to pull the engine out and electronics

This car had a roll cage so we had to take it out to get access to the wires.

I also heard that you can use Diablo Trinity to program your own ecu to bypass the security features and sensor that would stop it from working for the 69 charger?
with all respect I wish you guys would learn the difference between a HEMI engine and a POLY the 5.7 6.1 and 6.4 chrysler engines are not HEMI engines because they have a polyspherical combustion chamber to be a HEMI it needs to have a hemyspherical combustion chamber just because the plugs are in the middle and it has 2 rocker shafts does not make it a HEMI period ..

I just painted my 440 Hemi Orange, I like the Hemi Orange look. I hope everyone doesn't think I have a Hemi, because its Orange?
I just learned that all Orange engines are not Hemis... Live and learn I guess.
:hello2:
I have a complete electrical setup from Chris. My 6.4 and Nag1 will be running in a couple months.

Hi Rimspec, that is one ambitious project you have there, from the picture it looks like you have some good help too.
It amazes me to think about how much computers have integrated into our cars now days compared to going through a late 60's model car, heck, my 67 only has a half a dozen fuses and thats it! I looked everywhere but I could not find the ECU on that baby, LOL!
Good luck on your build and keep us updated.

With all due respect Ma Mopar must consider it a Hemi or she put the wrong badge on a whole lot of cars. lolwith all respect I wish you guys would learn the difference between a HEMI engine and a POLY the 5.7 6.1 and 6.4 chrysler engines are not HEMI engines because they have a polyspherical combustion chamber to be a HEMI it needs to have a hemyspherical combustion chamber just because the plugs are in the middle and it has 2 rocker shafts does not make it a HEMI period ..
