Here is the 26" rad in my Cuda with a 22" opening. I made brackets to mount using the 22" bolt holes and also use the stock 26" shroud.

That's a sweet looking engine compartment.

Sweet! Here is my cheap replacement, with new mopar shroud compliments of Summit racing. Hopefully around mid summer I can afford one of them desert coolers from OER.
26" Was an A/C car so opening is right here is a view.
Someone put a 26 in a 70 Hemi Clone RR on a 22 support, for a car that I work on for a guy. Didn't have the shroud initially, but he wanted me to install one. So I did. But the fan was slightly off center on the unit. It worked, but I didn't like the way it looked. Unfortunately, this guy paid a lot of $$ for this car that was all hacked here and there. Ask me how I know. I got a book on this car. LOL. See if I can find some pics.
Mitch......Looks like they tried in some spots to get that '70 all dialed up nice. And then just really dropped the ball on some of the most trivial stuff. I bet you were shaking your head for a quite while on that one.
Someone put a 5 speed in the car without modify the tunnel, so it is mashed up against the floor. you can see in the third pic how the cross member and mount are way out of whack. Drops the front of the motor so bad that you can see where the header was riding on the center link. So badly that it wore out the Idler arm. The Clutch geometry was so bad that you could barely depress the pedal. The whole damn car was a nightmare to get drive able. And he keeps coming back for me to fix other issues. Lord knows how much he's got in this car now. Oh... I forgot to say that this was a Barrett Jackson car in 08. saw the paperwork myself.
The original 68' R/T was a 22" Inch three core radiator. The 26" was A/C. I used an original 22' and recored it as a three core. and the engine doesn't overheat.I am currently redoing a 68 charger rt, some one cut the radiator support for some unknown reason so i ordered a replacement top and sides didnt realize that they came in 22" and 26", only 26 was available and mine was a 22 anyway the drivers side is the same and the passenger is smaller therefore the opening is not centered so take it out of the passenger side
Same as my 71 R/T. Sent it to Glen Ray for a rebuild and he said it was a nice core and to save the money and reuse it. Cools the car fine. The original 68' R/T was a 22" Inch three core radiator. The 26" was A/C. I used an original 22' and recored it as a three core. and the engine doesn't overheat.
