I have a 69 RR in which I will be installing a 440. I am wondering if the eddie rpm intake will clear my hood. I do not have the air grabber option. Anyone have problems with the rpm intake clearing the hood?

Pretty much everybody using them unless you are using a scoop. They are almost 2" taller than the factory intake. On my Charger with a 440, the only combo that would fit comfortably for me was a 1.25" drop base, 2 5/16 K&N filter, and a K&N top. Just put a 451 with a RPM in my 69 RR. With that I used a 1 5/8" drop Proform base, 3" filter, and a Holley lid. I have 1.25" clearance to the hood with this setup but the 400 block is shorter than your 440. No hood insulation on either car.
