Anyone seen a hood like this on a 66/67 coronet?

I picked up this hood today. Was on a 67 coronet...going on my 66.
I think it is custom built...from a challenger TA hood...I cant find one anywhere like it. It needs work....but I think it will be really cool.

Sorry for the pic...hood is filthy and garage was dark.

The guy might have had it on a T/A but the raise portion is from an R/T or a Rally Pack Challenger.

Yea...I knew it wasnt stock....but even aftermarket i cant find anything like it. Pretty sure it is home made.

At one time (not sure if they are still available) you could buy a similar looking hood for pickups.

***update!....I actually got to talk to the guy that built this hood (over facebook). He did indeed cut a challenger skin and graft it to the 67 coronet hood. He seemed tickled that it is still around and about to go back into use.
The guy that bought the 67 from him had taken it off because he was building a drag car and said the hood was too heavy and held heat in.
