been here a while, Just purchased my first charger

I'm from Colorado high mountains

purchased a 74 charger.


I've tried to purchase dozens of chargers all 68-71's over the years and have never landed one.
So a 74 out in some flatland hunting grounds I roam in kind of fell into my lap without much effort after years of driving by it.
Guy was not interested in selling as it was in the family since the 70's. I never even tried. Small town politics where everyone knows everyone.
One day the guy decides to sell it and my friend down there calls me and I tells me about it. Struck a deal on the phone and picked it up a short time after.

Now it sits surrounded by projects and stuff. I'm trying to get it running but having some problems.

Anyway I'm mostly an e body driver but love the mopars and I'm willing to drive anything.
I buy beat up ones and drive them for a while until I tire of them, sell them for a LOSS and go buy another car I have never driven.

That's pretty cool car looks just like my first car 74 charger with Aztec gold exterior and that horrific white with gold and black plad inserts for an interior . My was in much worse shape though

it's in great shape aside from being in a farm community it's entire life. She's a little beat up to say the least. But very little to no rust. It's so nice to not have to deal with rust. Instead I just get lots of dirt and sun baked parts.
I like the color combo in a weird kind of a way. I'm not gonna change it aside from replacing the deck lid and hood. Maybe they will end up gold.


The interior is definitely different. Is there a place I can buy a replacement match for this interior?

Probably not restore. Not really my bag until I find a truely rare or unique car.
I will most likely fix or replace most of the beat up parts. Make her a runner again in the way of totally street legal and all existing components are working and in good mechanical order. Then I will drive the hell out of it for a year or two more and sell it for a loss. That is usually how it works for my Hobby.

No sir, not an SD at all. If it was it wouldn't be sitting outside like that.
Just two measley 1970 firebird 350 BB auto cars. One with tons of documents and one with zero documents. I purchased them just because they are so cool and 70.5 models are very hard to find. Only half a year production ya know.
