Im glad you got over your hissy fit you threw with me in that post recently… What a shame you'll never get through that head of yours that i don't form friendships over politics. With so many of millions that visit the city id always enjoy meeting or just saying hello to any forum member which we share a common bond… Even you LOL

Sonny,i agree it is kind of funny. But its also a shame that we and i mean all of us form opinions of each other based on what goes on here.
Isn't it enough that no matter what the opinions over politics or religion are,being a decent human being,a loyal American and of course a Mopar guy wouldn't be enough? The truth of the matter is i did not get to actually meet Tek. I sent him my cell # and told him if he had a spare moment to call while he was in the states. He did. He told me about his family,cars and what he was doing and saw in NYC. If you do ever get out this way at the least it would be my pleasure to meet. Drinks are on me.

For me though Steve I can never be that cordial towards him ever. To me he is the antithesis of everything that the "nay Sayers" of America and for which it stands hates. Yet he still comes and visits which is within his rights to do but return and continue bashing our Country. Glad you did make contact and on a friendly basis. Tuck, good to hear from you. Sorry i haven't asked lately but how are you feeling? Just top let you know i don't like anyone knocking our country either. I think politics brings out the worst in some of us,it does in me and frankly after i get in those arguments I'm embarrassed about it. Still if we are friends a heated discussion should never be a issue. You take care

I find a great deal of humor in the avatars pictures on the different forums and try to imagine what the posters really look like. I'm not sure if they pick that picture because they idolize the individual or if they are of low self esteem and feel using a celebrities picture will give others the impression their someone that they really aren't. I once came across a post where the poster used a picture of Einstein as his avatar. After reading his input to various posts I soon realized that this guy was a "village idiot" and a lawnmower was way more complicated than he could handle. Yes, I would like to see in person (or talk for that fact) to the many avatars I interact with on forums but then again maybe that's the intrigue of doing conversation in this manner.

Steve I love new york, we stayed on 7th avenue for macys day a few years back, it was quite the experience, I also have to say the MOST expensive vacation I ever took that we could drive to!!!

A friend of ours has a restaurant out there (its hoity toity fu fu place, lol, $300 for thanksgiving dinner and none of it was cooked, they only serve raw food, its called something like the ugly duck, my wife would know, she is vegan and it is right up her ally...)...

I like to go to the city and complain about the traffic, next time Ill text you my number and I will complain to you instead of the cab drivers that don't understand a work I am saying...

Yes the city aint cheap for sure and listen if you ever go into the city for a vegan Thanksgiving day dinner again,you let me know and you get down to South Ferry get on a boat to SI. I'll pick you up and take you to my house for dinner. As long as you can deal with all my g-kids running around like wild indians that is LOL

Well Tuck the older we get the more time we seem to spend going to see Doctors so i can relate. What i don't care for is seeing or hearing you have a hard time with your VA claim. Common sense would dictate whatever your condition turns out to be,were else could have developed the illness.youve been in the service for so long. Hang in there and feel better

I have already done Route 66 on a previous trip. I drove over 5,000 miles across the US on that trip.

Its funny how when you talk to a guy in person things change. On the forums a guy prints something someone doesn't like and people are up in arms and the attacks start. When i stop to think about it,if we acted this way with people we actually associate with be it family,friends or co workers we'd have no friends at all. Say what you will the guy is a gentleman during our conversation. I suspect most of you are to.
