Thanks for the compliments fellas.
To answer your questions:
It is a "factory color" but not for that year or for that model, haha. It's the Dodge orange that they've used on the newer Challengers, Chargers, Vipers, as well as a few Jeeps and Ram trucks. I think it has a couple different names but is most known as "Header Orange" when it was used on the 2012-14 Challengers and Chargers.... My car was originally Rallye Red and I'm just not a "red" kinda guy. The Hemi orange just looks red to me as well, so that wasn't an option for me. I needed an orange orange. I think it works well with the white. It's different. Glad you like it.
And yeah, the front looks lower but because of the 40 series tires, so the overall height of the front 17" wheel and tire is about 2 inches less than stock with 14" wheels and 75 series tires (example: 215/75/14 = 26.7" tall. My fronts are 245/40/17 = 24.7" tall. My rears are 275/40/17 = 25.7 tall). I used BFG's all around. 245/40ZR/17's up front. 275/40ZR17's out back. I believe I'm running 4.5" backspace all around even with staggered front and back wheel sizes because of a little negative offset in back. It's not as tight as you might think. There's room for more tire if you can find the right tire. I did not do any modifications to the car for the wheels and tires to fit.
All this wheel stuff comes down to personal preferences... How do you want to do your wheels and stance? Then it's a matter of FINDING what you want. I can't stress how tough that can be. I wanted these wheels to begin with but last year when I was searching, these wheels were on national back order with an estimated 6 month or more wait. So I got the American Racing Torque Thrust 2's, but I couldn't get them in the exact sizes I wanted. Close, but it just wasn't exactly right to me. Anyway if you want a more raked look like you said before, you've got your work cut out for you. Not that it's hard but it just requires a lot of checking, measuring, planning, searching, and (once you place your order) hoping (that they fit like you wanted). Haha.
Or you could just take the car to a wheel shop and tell THEM what you want and let THEM figure it out. That's probably the most sure-fire way.
