Its very time consuming and you need patience or you will screw it up fast
not easy work

You will have to drill out each spot weld
with a cutter
And separate the metal with a chisel
And areas you can't reach you will have to dig out with a grinder

I've been in the auto body business for over 35 yrs. You can do it, just take your time, nice and easy. Always cut off more than you need from the donor panel. You can always trim it down later. Always better to have over cut than under cut. Tool companies sell a little air belt sander made for grinding spot welds, you can actually sand the spot weld down until the metals separate. Another reason to cut more than you need is to use that metal to make two sleeve's to join the panels together, in the rocker panel if needed and the sail panel.

I have done this several times. Like the others have said, take your time, use the correct tools. I started at the bottom of the quarter panels, rocker panel, moved to the wheel well, then the back window, the door jamb next. The welds around the tail panel can be a booger. The hard parts comes getting to the spot welds at the quarter glass area and then the welds under the roof. Each time I took the roof skin of to make it easier.

a good tool that i have used on occasion that i can recommend
for a newbie is the steck seam buster
i tore mine up and have to get another one.
another tip is lubricate your spot weld cutter or drill bit a lot
or they will wear out fast.
