sooooo...I need to remove the rear window trim so I can tuck the new vinyl top material under it.

how do you remove it without bending the hell out of the trim and re-installing it right?

there's gotta be a tool out there to do it. I do have a nylon pry set, but I would rather employ a proper tool if it is available.

I forgot to mention the middle-pass side up by the bottom of the windshield is mighty crispy and not really attached. so that kinda threw me a curveball.

I dont want to break the glass while im at it...

Heya, Kid. I have not given it a shot yet. I hoping to do it this week...

Well @khryslerkid, I bought the pointy tool and gave it a shot, and guess what?

NO CLIPS!!! just a bunch of goo holding the trim on. I made multiple passes, on it's side, straight up and down and it didnt catch on anything. but on every pass, it brought up lots of crap and sticky goo.

crap.

Did you get the trim off? Sounds like someone took a short cut on the installation?

sounds like it. no sir. I left in place. not going to break it if it's fixed.

I ran into the same problem on my 74 Charger SE. There was clips holding it on but there was so much glue you couldn't get to the clips. Long story short, I ruined the trim getting it off.
