Is there anyone near Clarkston, Michigan, or could recommend someone, that would be able to help look over a car I'm interested in at Southern Motors? I'll be there on 6/9 and 6/10 to look over a 1969 Road Runner. I've owned many Mopars over that last 30 years but another set of eyes is always welcome. I'm willing to pay for your time, let me know, thanks.

I'm not an "expert".........but, I've been around the block a few times. It's about an hour's drive....but, I could do it.

Congrats on 2 smart moves. In person and someone here to go along. Take pictures and keep us posted. Good luck.

Would appreciate your help, I'll pay for gas and buy lunch. I'm leaving early this thursday should be there around 1:00 or 2:00, planning on staying overnight so Friday morning would also work. My phone number is 773-251-7650, give me a call or send me a text and will set this up, thanks. Bill

I sold these guys (Southern Motors) a car about a year ago. For what's it's worth they were great to deal with

My buddy sells them cars... all the time. His cars are pretty nice.

Of all the sellers in the area they seem to have the better quality cars.

Lipstick on a pig. Some **** was comical.

I live about 15 minutes away. Most of their cars are pretty decent. They've been in business many years with a pretty decent reputation. That being said each car is differerent. You don't know until you look. Let me know if you need help. I have a pretty good understanding of both body and mechanical.

The one that I looked at was not as presented, no sale. Nice enough guys but car was going to require thousands of dollars in repairs. Went to look in back seat, the seat back fell off. Looked under the car it was missing the clutch access cover, went to put on seat belt for a test ride and the connector wasn't even bolted to the floor, brake light switch not working, brake pedal very soft not coming up, rolled windows up an they were all badly scratched, leaking oil etc. etc. They also said they didn't have a lift to put car up on for inspection, now I know why. Thank goodness I had some help from a very knowledgeable Mopar Guy! Don't trust the videos, it looked beautiful in the video............
