late model hemi into early b bodies

Thanks for the compliment. Yeah, she was understanding and supportive. Dont worry about your better half, when she drops the hammer for the first time, she'll understand why ya built it, lol!!

HAHA, my wife is very supporting too. She lets me spend more money then her on a consistent basis which in my view is rare. And in the end i think she likes it more then she lets on. We'll be in our car headed somewhere and she will point out cool old cars...so I know she is a closet gear head. But the first time we roll into a couple parking lots with the Coronet and everybody is looking at us she will probably have her outing...

I've went thru a set rear tires in 2 months and yeah, it drives just fine. It's kinda hard to take a pic of the tires boiling when you don't have someone to hold the camera, lol!!!

Well, she's gone and on the way to the new owner. I fired her up for the last time tonight, backed down the driveway, put it gear and rumbled to car carrier down the street. I watched as they loaded her up, closed the door, and pulled away. My heart has a small piece missing as this was "OUR JOURNEY'S END".

Now that I got that off my chest, a new era is coming by way of a 69' Road Runner......let the sparks fly!!!!!

Dang it man!!! My eyes were all misty reading that....:sad7:

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have put a 5.7 hemi and 5spd. auto into my 64 polara 500. There were some snags but overall it went pretty smooth.

Hi, I just brought a 2015 6.4 hemi with an 8 speed trans. that i will be putting in my 62 plymouth what kind of radiator and gas tank did you use. and it looks like the trans tunnel will be modified a lot . i have a 70` road runner K member that i will be using also.

You'll need a radiator to match the inlet/outlet of the engine. I used a new replacement tank for the intank fuel pump.

is it a 3 or 4 core aluminum with 2 small fans and shroud correct, also where did you get the fuel tank. Thanks.

Yes.
I got the tank on ebay, just look for one and you'll find a few sellers.

What are you doing for a computer/controller for the 8 spd?

The pcm is in the valve body , however found out that i need the shifter, dash screen from the car to control launch control and traction control. which i don`t have, so i will probably go with a tr6060 6 speed to make it easier.

Yes. Stock tank was modified for a TanksInc 255lph fuel pump.
