Actually, I know I am supposed to remove the antennae before covering it... but since its a pos antennae - I didn't care much regarding removal for cover. Got the other on way from National MOPAR. Fire extinguisher is a great idea... didn't think of that. There are no cracks in the trunk on the inside by the quarter panel... least I don't see any.Cool 68, if you'd be closer I think I'd try to make a deal on the old school Cragars.
I wonder why the Charger scrip's are on the front fender, and not on the sail panel, that's different?
Get yourself another ECU box, (that ORANGE thing on the right fender well), get the chrome Mopar Performance one put it on and throw the Orange box in the trunk for a spare. Or keep the Orange hooked up and put the Chrome in the trunk.
Get a fire extinguisher and put behind the passenger seat or somewhere, your choice, it's a 48 year old car.
Edit: Missing the antenna, maybe it's stuck somewhere in the car, I see a black car cover, people remove the antenna when covering their car. Did the PO tell you the antenna was missing? Check the cracks where the rear quarters meet the trunk floor in the trunk.
Got the plates four days ago. Took it around the block in a circle, then a bigger circle, and so forth... yesterday I took it out for a 35km drive each way. So far so good except for fumes in the car. Gotta keep the windows down.are the plates on it yet ,did you drive it.
good place to start.
What is the stock tire that goes on the 68 Dodge Charger please?... I know that the rim size is a 14x6 I think.

Nice 68 BTW....Whatever part you remove, keep it and store it. You never know what you may need in the future...
I was referring to the rim width. If you look at his previous post he thought the rim width was 6"....Thought it's a 5x4.5" bolt pattern...
