It would be impossible to describe how much fun I had in 1989 and 2000 , working in Sydney, staying at the Coogee Bay Hotel, surfing, skating while on assignments. Wish I could find the picture of the goat sticking its head in car in Yarongbilly or wherever that was..

Just came across a color picture of my favorite surfing spot from 1925.
We call it the icedtea river due to tannins from the duneland swamps and oak forests.
The red sky is from the steel mills 14 miles west, view is to due north, must have been SW wind for flat lake Michign.
