Not really / kinda I bought it back when I was looking for a truck and of course me and my wife argued of this I wanted this truck she didn't so I couldn't pass the truck up so I figured I'd buy it and win the fight and drive it or loss the fight and sell it and make some money on it. So the fight wasn't going good I ended up buying that 04 ram 2500 for about 5K more wife was happy I was ahhh it had a/c whatever so she told me to clear out the car lot in the back yard witch included poor
general D I wasn't too keen on selling it but figured money is money I got alot of projects I'll never get too. So younger guy bought it and away it went . Fast forward 04 ram blew a few valve springs apart I decided that I'll fix it and sell it to much crap to go wrong with it .I bought the neon srt4 as my new d.d. and a few days later I've had about 4 people asking for my truck and I had to tell them no ,I've been borrowing trucks so I told my wife were getting a beater truck .so I put out the word on c.l. I wanted general D back . The kid saw it and he was actually getting read it to sell it as he was moving soon. So we agreed on exactly what he payed me and I got her loaded up and home . The entire time my wife is fuming . General D is a good truck a little rusty and crusty but has a rebuilt 360 a 4 speed stick and a 8 3/4 rear with an 8 ft bed the ultimate work horse. And it's cheap to insure and tag . So I won after all these months hee heee
General d that's hilarious, I have an 85 El Camino that was acquired by a different owner for a short time and I got it back but it was a little different story than yours
