4 speed trans with automatic radiator

do i need to block off the two lower trans cooling lines ports or if they can be left untapped? thanks

My car has a rad with the auto outlets on it.Someone just cut the lines and pinched them off. I think plugging them would be a good idea to keep contaminants out of it.

You should not need to plug them if the oil cooling tubes inside the rad don't leak.

couple of threaded brass plugs ,won't cost much and its always better to be safe than sorry

Can't tell from your post I assume your running a separate cooler? Those lines supply lube to trans, you probably known that.
