I'm the final stages of getting my 64 Polara back on the road. Since my cluster has never been taken out of the car.im thinking about having it serviced eg: Speedo cleaned and lubed and gauges checked and having my repo gas sender checked and calibrated to the cluster. If anyone has knowledge of the quality of their work I'd greatly appreciate it.

I have never used them nor know anyone who has.....

Your other options out there are Performance car graphics(Dave Patik), Instrument Specialties, and Redline Gauge works. Personally, I have used two out of those three several times and they did phenomenal work. I have not used redline but know many people who has and they had no complaints.

there is auto instruments in virgina,i will be needing the same thing in a few weeks myself,i do not know who i will use yet. web site is autoinstruments.com

I have used Redline a couple times. They did a great job on refurbishing my gauge panel and replacing my amp gauge with a volt meter.
The only experience I've had with Instrument specialties is still on going. I sent my 68 Charger gauge bezel to them back in August and was told it was an 8-12 week turn-around. I called them in November to check on the progress and was told there were still 30 projects ahead of mine and it was 8-12 Months and not to expect it until next August. All of them are expensive but Shannon at Redline was able to get my gauge panel finished in about 4 months.

I used InstrumentSpecialties. Excellent work, 6 mo lead times and expensive. But like other have stated, they all are. One thing I did find out about Instrument Specialties is there pads are all farmed out to JustDashes.

My Complete dash and some other parts are currently being done by them. Once you fall in line then the wait begins but the wait is well worth it for the end product you receive back from them. 6months or so is about the expected wait time.

They do use just dashes if you or IS is unable to come up with viable originals. IS has a lot of links to vendors/people to find original equipment that is not available to the consumer. I only needed one OE pad for my dash. I searched forever and in less than a week they found one!

Thing about just dashes is they are close but not exact, especially if you have molded stitching. At the price JD charges they should be spot on, Exact!

I agree 100% and as you can see in my pic the stitching isn't there but should be! They did however charge me for just dying them instead of refab but I'm still on the look out for a good set of originals.

Dash looks beautiful BTW!

Your search will soon be over bee, see below,

Just spoke to Tony and the pads will have the stitching and should be available within the next 3 months or sooner. Be glad you have a Dodge!

Thanks for the suggestions on the other vendors. I'm going to look into either Red line or Instrument Specialties. I'm lucky in the sense that I don't need cosmetic work done. This car was garages it's entire life and the lettering and chrome still look great. It's about the only thing that hasn't fought me in this project....yet. lol

I used autoinstruments.com when I restored my dad's challenger. They are located in Virginia. They did a very good job and work was timely. Spoke to the owner before I shipped. This is not a very good pic but all can find right now. I would use them again.
