It has just over 50K on it. I painted it and recovered the drivers seat.
A 4sp consol car with rear defrost, 8track player, 6way drivers seat.
What if you discovered that the original hemi coronet dash , fender tag and all the rest of the numbers and hemi specific pieces ,came from another car, that was pulled out of lake Huron after sitting at the bottom for 8 years? Would you be pissed? I know I would . But if it was a slant or 318 Coronet 440 , I doubt anyone would care.
Same thing happened when I bought my 64 Belvedere. A few months after I bought it and had the title transferred I noticed that the VIN on the title didn't match the VIN plate on the car. I figured I was in for a lot of BS with the DOL getting it straightened out but it was amazingly easy. All I did was drive down to the inspection station and have them look at it. The inspector said "yea, it's just a typo, we'll sent you new paperwork in the mail. A few weeks later I got a new title and registration in the mail and if I remember correctly, it only cost $30. I was amazed how easy it was, especially in Washington State where it seems like they try to make thing as difficult and expensive as possible.Have heard of those mistakes before.
I noticed that. Isn't that the same place where the Coronet 500 would go? Not sure about Bees or 440sI have a question for those that see this picture. My car has a Hemi emblem on the passenger side front fender.
I have never seen this on another coronet or superbee. ??
That orange Cuda on Grave YC . I wouldn't buy it, to close to being re-bodied or was it re-bodied. What about that? Like to hear opinions, if you could stand to watch GYC at all.
Super Bees may be the Bee's Knees. But R/Ts are the Cat's Meow!
I would say a Bee is to an RR what
an R/T Coronet is to a GTX.
My fav Plymouth is a GTX
My fav Dodge is an R/T Coronet.
You bought that car the year I was born and it's gotten better with age. Lovely Ride. I'm going to sweet dreams about top less women and Hemi-Coronets
