Extremely difficult to read that online newspaper when it keeps moving around and popping up adverts and just jumping all over the place.
But the story sounds a bit like an old joke.

An experienced detective would have checked the scene to see if the victim was wearing her dentures or if they were put away for the night.
It seems he was headed in that direction
