I ordered and received a carburetor kit from Rockauto for the Carter AFB on my 67 Dodge. Opened it to start the carb rebuild, and there are no instructions or specifications contained. This is the Standard brand kit. Every carb kit I bought years ago always had a sheet with a drawing of the parts, assembly instructions, and float settings, etc. Just curious if this is standard practice now, or if I got one with the paper accidentally left out.
And I am OK, because I have a factory service manual for my car. But wonder how an inexperienced "newbie" would fare with rebuilding a carb without that info...

I just got a kit from Quadrajetparts.com and it had the paperwork and measuring cardboard with it.

I'd reach out to Rockauto to see if there is a website where you can download the instructions.

Big bad will be alright with the FSM, jeez I still have the cardboard measures from the 70's & one with a cutoff leg to set up quadrabogs as we used to call them.(quadrajets) from GM.

Yep....buhh---whaaahh!!

Yeah, I personally am OK with the AFB. This ain't my first time, I been playing with Mopar muscle since the mid seventies. This is probably number 10 or 12 for me... Just thinking about the less experienced kids that do not have an FSM to go by on the settings and adjustments.....

I just rebuilt both of my AFBs with Rock Auto kits. My kits had instructions in them.
