So...thinking about pulling the trigger on a new set to replace the ratty ol' hookers in my 68 satellite/440. Consensus seems to be Doug's or (gulp) some tti's..
On the Doug's- how will upsizing to the 2" primaries affect my performance (positives/negatives)?
For both brands, do they have ample clearance around the torsion bars and power steering? (Gotta be better than what I have now!)
Currently 1-7/8" headers to 2-1/2" pipes and major dinging was required to keep them from slapping the t-bars as the engine vibrates...not that I mind wacking things with a hammer just wondering if it's worth the hassle and $$ to upgrade..thanks!
