I was bored so i pulled the valve covers and lashed the valves. The heads seem to be getting plenty of oil, no other issues. There were a few valves that needed a tweek but nothing substantial. While I had the valve covers off I checked rocker shaft caps torque and inspected the keepers. Again, everything is good. I did have to tighten the header bolts.

On the valve covers, especially the aluminum ones, I apply the gasket to the cover side via Permatex High Tack. Keeps it from squishing out and makes it easy to remove the covers to set lash.

Done.

I have some Gibbs Driven oil on the way (sale at Summit) along with a filter so the oil is going to be changed this Tuesday.
