Did not know these fender turn signals were being reproduced.

Just got my Classic industries catalog and they have all of the ones now on the market.......However they are high priced with every thing they sell.

I think they all come from the same china manufacturer. I ordered some for my 70rr hood signals and spent an hour grinding them to fit the housings. Once they were in they look nice.

I have seen them available since no less than 3 years now. Maybe I could say no less than 5 years

I just have a problem with the wiring were it contacts the tiny lamp inside, not going to spend $150.00 (yet).

Dang those look nice ,but I just bought an org mint set for less !

Usually the ground is the problem

Where the base stud contacts the backside of fender/make sure its nice and clean

Thanks, I already added an extra ground wire though. The problem is the wiring is really funky inside the little capsule, once it separates, it loses contact and springs back away from the little contact on the bottom of the tiny lamp. I jerry-rigged it once, but it only lasted a short time before failing again.

Sometimes what helps is to add a drop of solder the the tip of the bulb so it makes contact with wire.

The e-bay offering are chrome and are only one pin mounting, not two. The wiring looks a little different, also. The price is much better.

My one did not work after a while. I removed the screw and put in a bigger one and it works now. So it was a grounding problem.

I bought that paintable set a few months ago but havent mounted them yet.
They are nearly identical to the original units I have mounted on the hood of my 72 Runner. The lights and wiring of my originals were missing so these seem correct, or close enough. The connectors seem correct as I found my original bullet type connectors bundled up on the firewall.

SEE............. classic industries $185 everybody else $150 or less.

Now I'm noticing two different are being posted ? one with an extra plate with the nut, bezel with pin, the other one without pin, but the nut directly atached to bezel... interesting. What's the deal on that?

Nice! I didn't even know they were reproducing these!
