The aftermarket decal people don't seem to want to make me some custom decals, so I am asking online if any artist type person can tell me what font is used on the '72 air cleaner (for both the letters and numbers) and what font is used on the fender engine callouts for '71-72. If I can figure out the correct fonts, I can take that information down to local graphics office (I hope). Besides the letters, I need to match up a "5" with the "3" and "0" on the air cleaner and fender to spell out something a little different, namely "305" rather than the standard "340". Thank you.

I'm pretty sure it's eurostyle bold that's been extended. If they won't do it let me know. I can hook you up with a logo.

Take the lid only to any graphics/printing shop. They will take a picture of the existing graphic in exact dimensions including ID and OD. They do not need to know the font. In their graphics program they can make what ever you want based on what you have - full circle, different colors or modified numbers ie: stretched, drop shadow, color, and many more effects. I once saved images from a website for decals, put them on a flash and had a graphics shop make them for me from a sticky back plastic sheeting. They came out perfect after the shop worked it's magic.
